Employee Free Choice Act Introduced Into Congress

On March 10, 2009, the Employee Free Choice Act was introduced in the House of Representatives and the Senate (H.R. 1409/S. 560).  Also known as the “Card Check” legislation, both versions have fewer sponsors than the bill that ultimately failed last session in the Senate, where the battle likely will occur again.
